TransLes, established in 2005, provides high quality rail forwarding and freight services to forest industry companies, while enhancing the efficiency of specialized timber flatcars (platforms).

For its operations in the main timber production regions, the Company has established regional representative offices and concluded contracts with local railroad administrations and clients. TransLes's vast geographic coverage includes railroads located in Russia (North Railways, Oktyabrskaya Railways, Gorky Railways, Sverdlovsk Railways, Krasnoyarsk Railways, East Siberian Railways, Transbaikalia Railways, and Far East Railways) and abroad (Finland, the Baltic states, Mongolia, and China).

TransLes is making continual efforts toward enhancing the efficiency and turnover rate of flatcars.by developing and implementing new haulage technologies and traffic management. Due to the unification of rolling stock belonging to different railroads and the extensive transportation geography, platform cars can be promptly redistributed between various regions with due account of relevant market demands, which enables the Company to better satisfy demand and reduce demurrage.

The TransLes technical policy provides for modernization of the Company's rolling-stock, aimed at enhancing its technical and economic indicators, and a gradual increase in the rolling stock capacity.

In the short-term perspective, the Company plans to increase its freight volume and cargo range, expand its traffic geography, and widen the range of services of higher quality.
